Valle del Este golf course is a desert-style golf course located near the town of Vera Town in the Costa Almería, Spain. Valle del Este is one of 5 golf courses in the Mojacar golfing region which includes; Desert Springs, Marina Golf, Aguilon and Playa Macenas.
Valle del Este is close to the tourist resorts of Mojacar and Garrucha. Mojacar is known for its white-cubbed hilltop Town and it's Playa offers; 7 km of beaches, water sports, great restaurants and bars. Garrucha is a small fishing port, famous for seafood restaurants and a marina.
Valle del Este course design
It was designed by Jose Canales Galvez and opened in 2002. It is an 18 hole, par 71 course of approximately 5700 meters (white tees) covering 56 hectares.
The course offers a mixture of well playable holes for all levels of golf ability and holes that represent a real challenge for more experienced golfers. The main features include; 3 lakes and waterfalls on some holes, wide fairways, undulating terrain, large sandy bunkers and natural hazards that will need thoughtful play to return a good score card. It is recommended to pre-book tee-off times at Valle del Este, particular in the morning, as this is a very popular course.

Spectacular and challenging are the two words heard most by people finishing their first round at Valle del Este golf course.
Designer Jose Canales, has managed to create a golf-course that is considered to be one of the top courses in Europe. Each of the 18 holes has a different design, making each hole a new challenge for the players. It is said to be a very enjoyable course to play with lots of variety and many challenging holes.
A desert golf course surrounded by cacti, rolling hills and steep cliffs make this a visually spectacular course. The greens are very fast and true, due to their size they offer a large variety of pin-placements

A modern Pro Shop is located within the Valle del Este Hotel facility. It is well stocked with golfing equipment and a range of fashionable sports clothing. Valle del Este has excellent facilities for learning and practicing golf. The golf professionals offer several programmes from advanced players to beginner levels, and also lessons for children.
A large putting green practice area is located next to a 300 meter deep driving range with mats and a golf ball dispenser machine
